Delete your Tsumihon account

You can delete your Tsumihon account yourself, from inside the app, at any time. You do not need to contact us and you do not need to wait for us.

Steps

Open Tsumihon on your phone or tablet.
Go to Settings → Advanced & Safety.
Scroll to Danger Zone.
Tap Delete Account.
Type DELETE to confirm, and enter your password.

That is the whole process. Deletion happens immediately when you confirm — there is no queue and no grace period.

The button above needs a working sign-in, because deletion is authorised as you. If you have lost access to your account, email support@tsumihon.app from the address the account is registered to and ask us to delete it. We will confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes, permanently:

Your account record, including your email address and sign-in credentials.
Your synced library — every book, its metadata, your ratings, shelves and categories held in our database.
Your custom cover images stored in our bucket. The database rows go at once; the image files themselves are queued and purged within 24 hours, because storage objects cannot be removed by the same operation that removes the rows.
Every public share link you created. Any tsumihon.app/s/… link of yours stops working at once, and the snapshot behind it is removed with the account.
Your source-extension settings held server-side, including the encrypted source logins and any AI provider key.
Any support logs you sent us, removed before the account itself.
Our copy of your entitlement state — what you bought and until when. See the note on stores below for what Apple, Google and our billing provider keep, which is not ours to delete.

The app also clears its own data on the device as part of the same action: your local library database, your cached covers and your saved sign-in.

What is kept, and why

Backup files you exported yourself. If you have used Backup & Restore to write a backup file, that file is yours and stays on your device or wherever you saved it. We do not touch it, because deleting a file you deliberately created and stored is not ours to do. Delete it yourself if you want it gone.
Crash diagnostics already sent, for a limited period. These carry no library contents — see the Privacy Policy for what they contain and how long they are held.
Store-side purchase records. Your purchase of Tsumihon lives with Apple or Google, not with us, and we cannot delete or refund it. Deleting your Tsumihon account does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel that through the App Store or Google Play; if you sign up again later, restoring purchases will restore your access.

Retention

There is no retention window on the data listed under What is deleted: the records are removed when you confirm, not marked for later cleanup. Ordinary encrypted infrastructure backups may hold a copy for a short period before they rotate out; those are not readable by us as individual records and are never restored selectively.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove things:

A single book — delete it from the book’s page. That also cancels any share link for it.
Your whole synced library, keeping the account — Settings → Advanced & Safety → Danger Zone → Reset Collection.
All your share links — Settings → Account & Privacy → Active share links, and cancel them. Cancelling takes effect immediately.
Anything else — email support@tsumihon.app and tell us what you want removed.
