Quick Start
Getting up and running takes just a few minutes.
1. Install Tsumihon
Tsumihon is available on iOS and Android. Follow the install link on the main site for your platform.
2. Create an Account
When you first launch the app, you can sign in or create an account. An account is what enables cross-device cloud sync. Sign up with email, or use a supported social provider. Cloud sync is enabled automatically when you sign in.
If you prefer to use Tsumihon entirely offline, you can skip account creation and start with a local-only library.
3. Add Your First Book
Once you are signed in, head to the Search tab to start building your collection:
- Tap the search icon in the navigation bar.
- Type a title, artist, or keyword into the search field.
- Browse results from your installed extensions, each shown as its own tab.
- Tap a result to preview its details, then tap Add to Library.
You can also add books by scanning an ISBN barcode, searching with an image, or using OCR to extract text from a photo. See the Search & Discovery page for full details.
4. Explore Your Library
Switch to the Library tab to see your collection. From there you can sort, filter, open the reader, edit metadata, and run batch operations. See the Library page for a complete walkthrough.
